w32 parite
It's a sneaky little bastard. W32 parite is a quite standard polymorphic virus capable of infecting both .exe and .scr files. It spreads mostly via shared files contents and stays well away from e-mails. This makes it even more difficult to notice and in effect - to delete.
Fortunately, w32 parite is quite harmless, as it doesn't have any destructive functions (no format c: command). It's also four years old, so most of anti-spyware programs are able to kill w32 parite on sight. If only they can detect it…like Spyware Nuker.
