Mediaplex is a device used to track a users movement on the Internet. Mediaplex is run by Mediaplex.inc and is transferred to computers through cookies when the user visits a webpage that carries an advertisement from Mediaplex.inc. If you don't remove Mediaplex
it will also sift through the browser's history and report this to its advertisers.
